Report Server Error "Client found response content type.."

  Hi all,

   

   

  We experienced this error this morning

  According to the Microsoft article http://support.microsoft.com/kb/946788 this can be resolved by recreating the virtual directories and changing the registry to point to these new virtual directories, this needed an IIS reset as well. The article says the this could be caused by the report server containing extended ASCII characters but this is not the case for us.

   

  All was fine after we restarted IIS but this was done during business hours. Currently, we have the IIS reset scheduled every night but it seems like this error occurred sometime this morning.

   

  What would of caused this error as we did not change the report server name?
