Firefox constant redirects RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am running Windows XP Media Center, I use Firefox and IE 8 only for updates with Windows Live One Care. I have tried getting rid of a highjack "I hear this is the problem" but running multiple scans with malwarebytes "legitimate" and Windows Live One Care itself and letting it run for hours but they find nothing everytime also i have searched all over google but cannot come up with anything to solve this. it is rather frustrating any answers? also the site it redirects me to is lightseek.biz and other random ad sites about getting ripped or some such bs I am always surprised when i come across an atrocious virus that windows live one care can't get but they are usually then new ones I pick up so malwarebytes takes care of it but this time I can't even detect anything

  • You're in the wrong forum if you are using OneCare.
You should also not be running Malwarebytes at the same time as OneCare, by the way, assuming that you are using the full version of the former which I believe provides real time protection.

If you are using Windows Live OneCare and you have been infected, but OneCare did not detect or cannot remove the malware, please contact support to report this and for help with removal.
