I was able to work around this by disabling the Team Foundation Add-in in Project Professional.
1. Add the "COM Add-Ins" button to a toolbar (Tools->Customize->Toolbars, Commands tab, Tools category, "COM Add-Ins..." command, drag item to a toolbar on the UI)
2. Click the COM Add-Ins button and uncheck "Team Foundation Add-in". Click OK then restart project.- Marked as answer by Gary Chefetz, MCITP, MCT, MVP Tuesday, May 17, 2011 2:04 PM

1. MS Project 2010 - reinstall
2. TFS 2010 -> SP1 RTM
3. Sharepoint 2010 - cumulative patch
4. Project Server 2010 - cumulative patch
5. TFS & Project Integration RTM
Same error :)

Great but you are missing VS SP1 RTM please (which is what deploys Project desktop add-in)

Hi, i have the same problem. I've imported some projects from MOSS 2007 to EPM 2010. When i open Project Professional 2010 connected to PWA, this message "TF80068" appears.
Unfortunately, the workaround solution only works on Project 2007...
Does anybody facing the same problem? I cannot find a solution.Friday, July 6, 2012 2:07 PM
