Reporting Services Service Account RRS feed

    We are using a dedicated service account to run SSRS.

    We have a separate SSRS server and CRM web front end server.

    I am unable to run a report on the CRM Web Server and receive an error stating:

    Error Details: Error occurred while fetching the list of data extensions
    installed on the report server.

    And the following error message is available in Event Viewer:

    Web service request ListExtensions to Report Server failed. Error: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

    I am unable to browse to the Report Server URL on the CRM Web App Server and if I attempt to edit the CRM organization, I receive the following error:

    Setup failed to validate Reporting Services Report Server. The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

    If I change the service account used for SSRS to 'Network Service' the issue is resolved and I am able to browse to the Report Server URL on the CRM Web Server,

    Would someone please advise what sort of permissions / privileges are required for the service account used to run SSRS? I have added this account to the required CRM AD Groups which has not resolved the issue.

    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
