How can I make OneCare to use the existing backup disks to continue incremental backups? RRS feed

    I had to revert my system to a previous saved system restore point.
    Unfortunately, this restore led OneCare to believe it never ever did a backup before.
    But I already have a couple of DVDs with backed-up information and do not want to burn another set of DVDs with identical content...

    Is there any way to tell OneCare to use the existing backup set and continue with incremental backups on this set?

    Unfortunately, this is not an option. Doing a system restore to a point before backup was performed caused the database to lose track of the backup status.
