So now that I've bought 2 new computers for my kids for Christmas, how do I get rid of the crappy vista and get xp on my machine so they can play their online games? I checked dozens of sites for answers and nothing works. At this point, I'm ready to take the machines back since they are unusably for what they were purchased for. The compatiblity setting does nothing - setting the programs to admin does nothing - and why does it keep asking me over and over if I give permission for a site to access my computer if I've already answered yes? Just how stupid is this program if it can't remember anything?
I really see no point in having the vista and would expect that since microsoft put out the program that doesn't work, they should be willing to set me up with XP which works fine on my older computer.
