Purchased OneNote 2007 from MS website - Need PDF Export Download - Validation failing RRS feed

  • Question

  • I run OneNote on my company laptop, which has a corporate license for Office 2003.   I purchased OneNote 2007 from the Microsoft website.  Everything is running well, but I want to install the Export to PDF plug-in.   In order to download, I had to go through the validation process.

    Where it failed.

It is saying that the corporate license key isn't right for my version of OneNote, and won't let me download.  Then, the troubleshooter says to unload the "offending" product that may be causing the problem.   Sorry, but I won't uninstall OneNote, after legitimately buying the product.

I would be happy to share the license key for the individual OneNote product that I bought, if I can be provided with the download link.

    Thanks in advance.

In order to receive the best support, we request all users to initially run the Genuine Diagnostics tool.  The tool will try and identify the individual issue you may be experiencing.  Also, please provide a brief synopsis describing the issue including any error messages or codes. These can be found in the lower left hand corner of most Genuine Advantage Web pages when an error is encountered.

Please download and run the MS Genuine Diagnostic Tool utility at this link http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 , then click the Windows tab, Copy to Clipboard, then paste the report into a New Post on this Forum.

If you could also please follow the steps outlined below, the diagnostics Web Site will attempt to resolve the validation errors you are experiencing with Office and you can try to re-validate and see if the message no longer comes up.
