WindowsXP activation problem RRS feed

    I reloaded XP pro using the re-installation cd provided by the computer manufacturer. After the installation was completed, the windows required "ACTIVATION". But my computer is unable to connect to the internet for activation and the phones numbers are un-reachable. I am now stuck. I cannot restore, or even check my network settings to troubleshoot.

    Kindly advice

    Hello Saxena Raj,

    Please use another computer to surf to the drivers download page for your exact model of computer at your computer manufacturer's support site, then get the drivers needed for the network card and/or phone modem (whichever you use to connect to the internet), download them onto a CD or a flash drive, transfer them to the computer in question, and then install the drivers.
