     So do I now have to search around for another Internet Security program since I downloaded  Microsoft's Windows 7? Any answers anybody?

    Yes. You can get protection by following the recommendations in the Windows 7 Action Center. Avast - www.avast.com also works in Windows 7, per the information on their forums, but they aren't listed in Windows 7 as one of the vendors (yet) and Avira also works, according to what I've read.
