Enable PBX Integration RRS feed

  • Question

Little seems to be published about this option.   According to documentation, an IP-PBX either supports natively or you need a Media Gateway.  We're using windows based ip-pbx (pbxnsip) that we have fully integrated with OCS & UM, however trying to get this feature to work to support call forking.  I'm not convinced it won't work, but will require more knowledge of how OCS is talking to ip-pbx when this option is checked.  pbxnsip supports call forking but of course OCS doesn't publish itself as an endpoint (I was able to register my OCS sip address in pbxnsip), so theoretically pbxnsip is .  Not working yet.

Any suggestions on troubleshooting and if MS has released any technical specs for this feature or whether it's tightly guarded secret?

    Thanks in advance, Fred

  • How can one fork to endpoint, which is not registered with ip-pbx ? Also how can ip-pbx exchange messages with OCS without doing registration ?
