Hi,
I just bought a new subscription at future shop and installed it on my sister and my computer about a week ago. It is now telling us that we only have one month remaining to our subscription and the disk says that it's good for one year. How do I go about fixing this
thanks

ostrosser,
I am interested in knowing the steps support used to assist you if you are able to remember them. I'd like to know if this was a date and time issue, or if something had to be done in your registry. Any information you can shed would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

This is what they told me to do and it worked. It didn't have anything to do with the date and time of the computer.
1. Open the link: http://billing.microsoft.com/.
2. Sign in with your Windows Live ID.
3. Click Windows Live OneCare under Service name and then click Renew this service under End date.
4. Click the word in blue "here" in the sentence "To renew your subscription with a Product key or prepaid card".
5. Make sure the option "25 characters" is selected, type in the new Product key and then click Next.

Ostrosser,
Thank you for visiting the Live OneCare program forum. I appreciate you taking the time to write some steps for me to follow up on. I've noted them and will continue to keep an eye out for similar situations which may require me to pass along your resolution steps.
Thank you again.
