Hello eveybody,
For some reason - I really didn't change anything - the synchronization of the main folder (which in turn includes many other folders with all my work) was lost a couple of days ago. When re-add it, Mesh doesn't re-synchronize it, but adds *another* folder (with the same name). Since this is a very large folder, I don't want this operation to use up my monthly HSPA data volume, so I cancel it.
In the help section of Mesh, they suggest the following:
- Open the notifier, click the Folders icon
, then click Manage folders. - Right-click the folder that isn't synchronizing, then click Delete.
- In the Delete Folder dialog box, click Delete. The folder will now appear under Not synchronized with this computer.
- Right-click the folder again, then click Sync with this computer.
- In the Synchronize Folder dialog box, choose a location for the folder on your computer (the default location is your desktop), then click OK. The contents of the folder should now synchronize with your computer.
The problem is, that the notifier doesn't show *any* folders in the "folders" tab, so there's nothing I can delete, let alone sync. But the folder (minus some new files I added in the last days) *does* appear in the web, i. e. on the mesh desktop, and is fully accessable there.
Also, when I right-click it on the mesh desktop and select "change sync settings", it says for both devices (live desktop and my laptop): "When files are added or modified" - although the local folder is *not* being synchronized (and I don't get the mesh interface when opening the folder).
Does anyone have an idea as to how to restore this lost synchronization?
Thanks ahead!
