SQL Server Reporting Services - Subscriptions "an error occured" RRS feed

  • Question

  • hi,

i'm having an issue with SSRS subscriptions, i used to be able to access the portal UI for them however this week i found i cannot get to the details, each attempt to access "subscriptions" via the portal is resulting in a 20 second delay and a 500 error on the API for subscriptions

looking into the logs i can see there is a 401 Unauthorised error being thrown

2020-10-29 09:52:06.9801|ERROR|19|OData exception occurred: System.Net.WebException: The request failed with HTTP status 401: Unauthorized.

any thoughts on how to re-gain access to the subscriptions....

could it be system performance related? i.e. the box is just not powerful enough to return all the subscritpion data in time?

nothing should have changed on the machine that i'm aware of
