  • Question

  • When I open an investment account, I get a drop down menu with choice of various investments I have created. This is getting to be a long list and I know some of these names are incorrect. Is it possible to delete some of these so that the drop down menu is manageable?

  • Are you using Microsoft Money? If so, what version? Help->About Microsoft Money will tell you the vintage.

  • To delete an investment from lists, shares held must be zero. Blank the symbol
    in details and change name to something weird.  If you delete
    an investment, your net worth over time report may be affected.
    Deleting an investment does not fully delete it from your file

    Go to the Portfolio. (Create a Shortcut if you don't have one)

    Portfolio->WorkWithInvestments->DeleteAnInvestment

    Ones in gray cannot be deleted currently, but the ones in darker text can be deleted.
