Does LCDS work at all?

  From the number of questions and the lack of answers, I conclude that LCDS does not work and that I should abandon attempts to master it. 

  I have put many hours over the past week into trying to get the simplest of learning objects to publish and run, to no avail. I get different results depending on whether the browser is Chrome (won't work at all), Internet Explorer (tries to do something then hangs) or Firefox (can get it to display images, but nothing more complicated). Previews seem to work in many instances, but nor the final package. 

  Is there anyone with a satisfactory experience of this product?
