Get Genuine error even though copy is genuine. RRS feed

  • Am using WindowsXP and recently reformatted. Even though my copy is genuine, a message pops up before i can load into Windows, telling me that my copy is not genuine and it gives me 2 options: to Get Genuine or Resolve Later. Choosing either does not make a difference. Here are my diag reports:

  • Please visit: www.microsoft.com/genuine and click Validate Windows - that should resync the WGA Validation files.

    Afterward, please click Start, then Run, then type in "WGAtray.exe /b" and click OK, then reboot. That should fix it!
