  • As some of you will see in the latest release we're removing some more restrictions and allowing a wider group to come Mesh it up. 

    If you are coming from the US, United Kingdom, Australia or New Zealand, and you are sent to the waitlist when you try to sign up please post here on this thread. 

    Also please make sure that your Live ID profile is filled out completely and accurately!

  • Hello Ken,
    I'm replying on behalf of my mum deniset@removethisbit.live.com. She signed up for Live Mesh earlier this week and got put on the waiting list.
    Just now I tried to invite her into a folder and when she clicked through she got the message:

    Unfortunately, the person who invited you to share this folder has exceeded the number of invitations they can send during our tech preview program. The program is currently full, but we're adding more space as fast as we can. If you've already signed up, we'll send you an e-mail as soon as more space is available

    Seems a little strange given that she is in the UK, already on the waiting list, and I read on Liveside that you have "Removed the limit on the number of Live Mesh invitations you have. Invite friends and family members to the Live Mesh Tech Preview."

    Could you investigate?

    The new version of Live Mesh has not been released yet.  The Announcement was made in advance to let everyone know what's coming.  We will post another Announcement when the update deployment has been completed, and you can try again at that time.  Of course, if you still run into issues after updating, please let us know.

    Hey Barry,

    If you could go up to http://account.live.com and make sure your profile is filled out completely for user information.  If your location is blank it will pop you to the waitlist since it doesn't know where your really coming from.

    Thanks for your interest! Live Mesh is currently available in the U.S. only. Click "Sign up" to receive an email when Live Mesh is available in your country/region.

    Either the mesage needs changing (to reflect the additional countries) or there is an error with my account.  Please look into this for me.

  • To verify your Country/Region on your Passport ID please do the following:

    1. Log in at https://account.live.com/.
    2. Click on Profiles on the left.
    3. Click on Edit your Account profile in the center section.
    4. Verify or correct your listed Country/Region under Home Location.

    NOTE:  Please do not falsify your Country/Region in your Passport ID.

  • Thanks Tim for this - It has worked now.  I had added my location before but didn't realise it required my date of birth as well.
