  • hello i am from india , and i own a IBM PC, this is supplied by M/s Wipro. one fine day my computer was collapsed in a virus attack and i lost everything i had in this computer. by the way it is instaled in a governemnt office and i sought help from our own it department. u know they have tricks of thir trade and some person who took the contract for last year formated my pc with a xp disk he had. when i connected this to net. and eventualy to microsoft, i started getting the message that my xp is not authorised. i contacted wipro for a solution and they told only microsoft can resolve it. in a government office no one is going to bear the expense and i am in a dilemma. even though it does not obstruct my work, it nags my mind that i am running something which is not upto date. can u favour me in this matter.
