pc game RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello,

I recently purchased a pc game for my daughter.  I downlaoded and installed the game, but when I try to open the file, it doesn't open.  I do not know what i'm doing wrong.  The application is provided as a short-cut only, and I can't find the download anywhere in any files.  The only way to view it is to click the icon on my desktop or in my programs. Please help. I recently received a virus before this, but I'm not sure if this may be the cause, but the cd is compatible with my programs and computer.

    Thank You

  • Hey tanyanotacomputertech,

The right way to get help with this really depends on what game you bought.  You'll need to contact the manufacturer of the game (very likely they have a website set up, and then a section of that is dedicated to support issues).  Another good thing to do is to make sure the Game's system requirements match the computer that you're trying to install it on.

However, you've posted this question about your computer game in a forum whose topic is feedback and discussion about the TechNet Website. Unfortunately your post is off topic here. You may want to try asking your question at http://answers.microsoft.com, or as I said above, by contacting the maker of the video game.

For more information about where to post your question please see this thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/tnfeedback/thread/24ee65e4-0f35-403c-9bf7-41333cd13cb5

    Moving to off topic.

    Thanks, Mike
