From PDC 08:

A live Mesh add-in for Windows Home Server.
Anybody as some news about this cool feature ? :DTuesday, May 19, 2009 4:34 PM

That was a proof of concept app shown off at PDC. Nothing further about this has been announced. Note also that the current version of Live Mesh is not supported on Windows Home Server or any other Server versions, though some have been successful at forcing the installation.

Thanks for reply.
I had live mesh installed on my Windos Home Server.
Nothing to "force" at installation, but some issues as conflict between mesh remote desktop and Server remote desktop and huge CPU usage.
Really hope this "poorf of concept" will be avaible in a near futur ;)Tuesday, May 19, 2009 5:20 PM -
I agree that having a fully functioning WHS add-in for Live Mesh would be awesome.

Hi
At this time I really wait for the next WHS (based on Server 2008 R2) because it may have (I hope) full integration on Windows Seven features like homegroup.. and maybe Live Mesh.
But know I still hope Live Mesh will be available for WHS 2003 and not only for the next WHS.Tuesday, June 2, 2009 10:10 AM
