.net core 3.0 worker service handling http request RRS feed

  • Question

  • In .net 3.5 framework i used windows service to run multiple thread for each business activity like queue listening, email, sms,db save etc. and control all the threads using nanacyfx in a webportal via http request and it was working fine. similarly i want to use in .net core 3.0 using worker service , but i don't have option to handle http request. I don't want to use Nancy in .net core 3.0.

I need windows service so using worker service.

kindly suggest an option for my need in .net core 3.

  • You're probably going to need to use TCP, between the portal and some Windows desktop 3.0 solution of console or Windows service, which is faster than using HTTP.

  • Hi

    Thank you for posting here.

Based on my search, worker service is a asp.net core app. Therefore, I suggest that you could post in the asp.net forum.

The Visual C# forum discusses and asks questions about the C# programming language, IDE, libraries, samples, and tools.
