my computer is showing no audio device found. i have no volume control or anything either.the computer plays "error" sounds, but not my music or any other sound. ive tried restarting the windows audio, and that didn't help Sad  and i've gone threw the device manager, in the sound, video and game controls folder, and i don't seem to have the necessary files to reinstall the audio device. the trouble shooter is saying i need a cd, but im using my boyfriends computer, and he has no idea where the cds are for the computer. is there a way to online reinstal an audio driver or device? or do i need to go buy a cd?

    can anyone please help me???

    ~thank you~

  • Got a similiar problem.  I don't see any answers here folks.  Do you mean that all of the super intelligent people out there, including Microsolf, no one has an answer?

As many problems as I have read about audio problems, indicates that Microsolf has a major problem and doesn't have a clue how to fix it.
