  • You can install onecare through its homepage. http://onecare.live.com

Make sure one of the computers is configured to be a hub pc.

And both computers is using the same Live ID.

Install from the OneCare web site. After it is installed, "subscribe" - which is to activate - using the *same* LiveID that you used to subscribe to the OneCare service, activating OneCare on the 1st PC. You can see the Subscription LiveID by opening OneCare on the first PC and going to Help/About.

Making one of the computers a "hub" PC is optional. Since they are both on the same subscription, they are then part of your Circle of two PCs. Making one or both PCs a hub via Manage your OneCare Circle within OneCare, allows you to see the status of both PCs from the Hub PC and allows you to configure Centralized backup, if you wish, to have one external drive used as a Share to hold both computer's backups.
