  • Outlook is not needed by the recipients of a scheduled meeting, any mail reader will do.  They simply use the meet: URL or enter the meeting details into Live Meeting manually.

  • I'm confusing my self...Extremely sorry to making feel uncomfortable...asking over an over an again the repeated question, what to do what not to do...

by the way my confuse question is...I have a OCS 2007 SE server apart from Exchange Server...
according to guide says the following mentioned below

The SMTP server can be configured by using the WebSchedulerConfig.vbs script or by navigating to the installation location for Web Components (the default path is %systemdrive%Program FilesOffice Communications Server 2007Web Components) and editing the Web.config files under the confint and confext directories using Notepad to replace the SMTPServer value from an empty string to the FQDN of an SMTP server in the enterpris,

i did it when opened browser tried  "http://ocsserver.domain.com" gives me an error page cannot be displayed...

Does that guide instructing me go an edit exchange server webconfig.......i did modified in OCS server which apart from exchange server...

    Thanks

  • You don't need to do anything on the Exchange Server
The part you mention is only for the OCS configuration, specific for the Webscheduler web.config
