Hard drive died, can't read COA decal anymore.. RRS feed

    My HP G60-519WM hard drive died. My COA sticker on the bottom has faded with use.. I never made restore disc so If I replace my hard drive and buy some HP restore disc will I need my COA? If so is there a MS remedy for my issue?

    HP recovery disks to restore Windows to your HP PC will not ask for the Windows product key.
