Find the event when selecting a subgrid RRS feed

  • Question

  • I'm trying to find the subgrid event of "onclick" when someone select a subgrig, so I can add some javascript functionality to it. This is probably an unsupported behavior, but required to what I'm doing.

  • You can try something like this.

    When user click on Sub-Grid, Sub-Grid Ribbon gets loaded. You can either add a Custom Button to Sub-Grid Ribbon or Find out button which will be enable all the time on the form.

    Once you decided on Ribbon button you can add <EnableRule> to the CommandDefinition of the Button. In EnableRule you can call your JavaScript function.

    EnableRule will be triggered everytime Ribbon for Sub-Grid is loaded.

    Here is sample Code For Enable Rule

              <EnableRules>
                <EnableRule Id="someId">
                  <CustomRule FunctionName="YourJavaScriptFunctionName" Library="Library URL" Default="true"></CustomRule>
                </EnableRule>
              </EnableRules>
