System32\DRIVERS\pci.sys RRS feed

  • Question

I have a TOSHIBA Tecra 8100 I recently ordered some ram 128mb when I put the stick into the system and power it up I get a message that says Windows did not start because a file is either missing or corrupt: system32\drivers\pci.sys. If and when I remove either stick the system runs fine???????

I purchased the new memory from a place called memory10. I looked at each one to see if they had anything that didn't match but I didn't see anything. They both say pc100 as a matter of fact memory 10 did a diagnostic online check to ensure (they say) to ensure they send the right 128 stick.

    Please someone help.
