MigrationUser 0???? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just published this thread. It took like 1-2 minutes until it was finally published and somehow it is now published as "MigrationUser 0" and not me... You can see it saying MigrationUser 0 when going to the Forum with all the threads and looking at that thread.

    The following is my signature:

Powershell Programmer & Advanced Lua Programmer

    Location: Switzerland

Beside that, whenever you see a reply, you think is helpful, click "Vote As Helpful"! And whenever you see a reply being an answer to the main question of the thread, click "Mark As Answer" (if you opened the thread).

I published the URL's for the icons in my signature.

Please contact me, before reporting me, thank you.

  • By the way, it looks like there are 4 different Migrationusers.

    Migrationuser 0
    Migrationuser 1
    Migrationuser 2
    Migrationuser 3

If you search for migrationuser 0 or any other of the four, you will find a few threads by these users.

  • It shows your name for me there. Do you still see Migrationuser  as your name in that thread?

    Thanks!

  • Another most recent sample when Tamar Granor is identified as "Migration User 0". This is in Visual FoxPro forum. I tried to propose her response but got an 'Unexpected Error'. Apparently this problem still exists.

  • Ed, check the publisher of the thread. It's actually me but it says MigrationUser 0, or actually, it looks like the example of derosnec.

  • It never lasts long enough for me to verify. Doesn't seem consistent or easy to duplicate.

    Naomi, thanks for the screenshots!

I submitted this as a bug request.

    Thanks Livio!

  • Hi Livio,

Would you please confirm if the issue still persists? I checked some threads reported to have the issue and it seems the issue does not persist. Would you please confirm if this for me? If the issue persists, please give me some example.

  • Yes, the problem exists - check the thread link I provided (in SQL XML forum). The first post doesn't seem to have a user associated with it.

  • Hi Yubo,
I did notice that the Forum was a bit "slow" at the time but I didn't get the Unexpected Errors or anything that we have seen a lot lately when I did that post.

I am running IE10 on Windows 8 Pro.

  • Just an additional information:

As that happened to me, I did not exactly know, how long I waited and what exactly happened, beside publishing the thread.

So I do not know how I could re-create the problem.

  • After the new forum re-design I experienced this problem myself the first time in this thread

The last response about parameters (and I think this is better response than the one marked) is mine.
