Johnsho,
The XP Pro installation seems to still have the generic IBM master product key installed.
Try the Product Key Updater Utility here: http://www.microsoft.com/genuine/selfhelp/pkuinstructions.aspx
It should be able to change the OBM master key to your presumably genuine XP Pro Product Key.
Post back to let us know if it worked for you!

Johnsho,
It appears that you are trying to use recovery or installation media specifically licensed for IBM/Lenovo computers to install XP Pro onto a non-IBM/Lenovo computer. This is not authorized.
Please visit your favorite online or local computer store and purchase a full retail or OEM license for the edition of Windows XP that you want to install on your non-IBM/Lenovo computer.

I had installed this machine from a HDD image from another IBM pc. During the first login itself it asked for activation and i purchased a new Product liscense and got it activated from microsoft on phone. During restart it is again asking for activation.
