Relation between Contact & Account RRS feed

  • I can see from contact Entity in 1:N Relationship exists between Contact & Accounts. However, I cannot Associate a contact to more than one account/Contact. Why this is so?  Why i cant associate inspite there is 1: N relationship between contact and account.

  • That specific relationship is for the Primary Contact on an Account. You can make the same Contact the Primary Contact on multiple Accounts (1:N).  If you look under the N:1 relationships on Contact you'll see the relationship for Parent Customer where you would normally associate an Account's individual Contacts.
