    Is there anyway to hide the paperclip icon on the task entity only?  We want people to be able to upload documents to the opportunity and not the activity associated with the opportunity.

    I am afraid its not available on Task entity. As if you try to update icons in customiztion grid by selecting Task entity. It raises warning that system entity icons cannt be changed.
