Timesheets No Prepopulation

Question
-
Using MSPS 2010 with Dec CU
It seems that while using Single ENtry Mode, even if we select the "No Pre-population", the assignments still get populated when the timesheet is created..No Prepopulation works fine once SEM is disabled...
Has anyone else observed this behavior?

No, I think Timesheet is simply ignoring the No Pre-population option entirely. Hope this helps.

I suspect that the behavior you describe would seem to be logical if you are using Single Entry Mode. SEM implies that we enter all of our time and task progress in a single location, which is the Timesheet page in PWA. If there is no prepopulation of task assignments, then how can we enter time and task progress in the Timesheet page? I suspect this is not a bug, but the system working as designed. Perhaps the other members of this group will have an opinion as well. Hope this helps.

Hi Dale,
Thank you for your reply.. I think I see your point..so, what I am seeing on the Timesheet page with NO-prepopulation are "Task Assignments" as a forced behavior from Tasks Grid.. while Timesheet assignments have been suppressed..
