Hi there,
I want to use the "Sql Server Project Type" in our Visual Studio 2005, in order to create, maintain, test and debug stored procedures and functions that are part of datasources for Sql Reporting Services 2005.
I found this is available in Visual Studio 2005 Professional (and Team).
I am not quite sure what version (standard or professional) is installed.
Copy Info of Help About Visual Studio
--------------------------------
Microsoft Visual Studio 2005
Version 8.0.50727.42 (RTM.050727-4200)
Microsoft .NET Framework
Version 2.0.50727
Installed Edition: IDE Standard
SQL Server Analysis Services
Microsoft SQL Server Analysis Services Designer
Version 9.00.1399.00
SQL Server Integration Services
Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services Designer
Version 9.00.1399.00
SQL Server Reporting Services
Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services Designers
Version 9.00.1399.00
---------------------
Think this is standard???
At any rate, if I try to create a new project in Visual Studio 2005 there is no "SQL Server project" available.
What would be needed to make this available?
If upgrading from VS standard to VS professional, where can I find the additional costs and download it?
Thanks, Jos
