    Hi,

    i'm using CRM 2011 my requirement is to attach Files in External database/ Hard Drive/ thrid party Software.

    for which when i click attach button and browse the folder, and when i click attach, instead of document getting save in Annotation table(CRM database) i want to save it my local harddrive/external DB.

    is there any client side scripting/Plugins availble? when i surfed the attachedevent it supports only for toogling,onblur,onchnage etc...

    You need to create a custom application. it can be html webresource, silverlight resource.

    and you can save it where ever you want. create a custom entity in crm say documents. when you save the document, save the url in the custom document entity. you can create N:1 relationship between custom document entity and the entity you want to documents for (like account or contact).
