    I'm also hoping to see this happen.  I would LOVE to see the next build report the free drive space correctly to OS X and Linux clients.  But, like everyone else, I'm just going to have to wait and see...

    The first time you'll see the new build announced will probably be when it's available for download, and it will be either the Windows Home Server team blog, or on Connect. It won't be from someone who doesn't work for Microsoft (though I sometimes think Mary Jo Foley has every phone in Redmond bugged). Until Microsoft announces it, it's just a rumor and should be taken with a large grain of salt.
    I'm not on the WHS team, I just post a lot. :)
