Blocked Product Key - 100% Legit stopped working :-(

Purchased from Amazon a few years ago on the official launch date of Windows 7 the key worked perfectly until 2011 then it stopped, its 100% legit yet it says its been blocked why !!

Hello Matt,
Luckily, there is enough of the Diagnostic Report that my tool was able to pull up some details on the Product Key.
The key is showing as having been Activation Blocked due to abuse. While "abuse" is a fairly generic term, given that the Activation History for this key shows over 50 activations (and/or Activation attempts) it's clear that the Block was applies due to excessive activations.
My suggestion would be to start the Activation By Phone wizard (so it can tell you the phone number for your local Activation Call Center). Once you call the number, either select the option to talk to a Live Activation Rep or if there is no option, don't enter anything into the phone prompt. This will force the phone prompt to transfer you to a Live Rep.
Once you are talking to a Rep, request an escalation to have the Product key unblocked.
Note: to start the Activate by Phone wizard, Click the Start button and type: slui 4 hit enter and then select your location.

Tells me my version of Windows is Genuine so erm how do they get off blocking my Product Key when it#s legitmate, i got offered to speak to support and to pay for it but why should i when i paid for this software ?

The Validation system will always report an unactivated system inside the Grace period as being genuine - 'benefit of the doubt' applies.
