Outlook Configuration Error RRS feed

  • When i try to configure Outlook client for CRM 2011 i am prompting for credentials, then i am getting this error

    Microsoft Dynamics CRM for Outlook

    ---------------------------

    There is a problem communicating with the Microsoft Dynamics CRM server. The server might be unavailable. Try again later. If the problem persists, contact your system administrator.

  • So, while configuring outlook client please use CRM internal URL if your machine is in domain ,,,or use CRM external URL if machine is not in domain....

  • Khaja, could you please post contents of the logs from

    %localappdata%\Microsoft\MSCRM\Traces

    It would greatly help to pinpoint the issue.

  • Is your machine in domain?

    If yes, is teh CRM URL added in local intranet site?

    Are you able to browse CRM from web from that machine?

    Is Cliams/ADFs enabled in your deployment?

  • Yes i am able to browse CRM.

    Claims/ADFS  is enabled.
