Universal Search

Question

the search in MS CRM seems just terrible. It seems to only search a single entity at a time, and even then hides a bunch of stuff. Is there any sort of "single search box" / "universal search" for CRM? I would like to type in search terms and get any leads, opportunities, contracts, accounts, etc etc.Tuesday, May 26, 2009 6:53 PM

Hi, Max.
There are no such functionality InBox... But you can write custom aspx page which will execute search as you like and show results in format you like.

Almost anyway. It doesn't search the Knowledge Base. Gotta love it.
Anyway, doesn't anybody write a decent search for CRM? A database without a search, what are they thinking?
