Performance toolkit issues RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi,

I'm trying to configure the CRM 2011 performance toolkit on a test deployment.  The CRM has been deployed with both Claims Based Authentication and IFD.  However, when I run the RunPopulation.cmd, it fails with the folllowing error logged:

Is this because the toolkit can only run if CRM is using Windows Authentication?

Any help would be much appreciated!

    with regards,

  • Hi Check,

The toolkit doesn't run with Claims or IFD based authentication out of the box.  But the reason we ship the toolkit with all the sources is to allow you to customize the toolkit to work for your paticular installment.  In order to run performance tests you'll either need to setup your test environment using Windows Authentication or add code to dbpopulator, entitymanager as well as each test to get and maintain the current token for each user.  You'll also need to add the users and roles into CRM through the UI, as we don't ship the source code for our UserConfigGen tool.

We will look into adding this into future releases of the toolkit.

    Thanks,

    crmperf
