disable launchpad. RRS feed

  • Question

  • ive looked thru the forums tring to figure out how to disable what is for me a useless & very annoying popup. the only thing i could find was to click on setting in the top rt corner of the popup- there is no such option.

is there another way to disable launchpad?

  • There is no need to log in if you create user Accounts with the same User Name and Password as on your client machine(s). Create one, use it to log in to the Launchpad and then you will be able to disable it at startup as above. You could then remove the account if you so wish.

  • Click on the downwards arrow (to the left of the minimize button) in the top right hand corner (if i recall you need to be logged into the Launchpad to do this) and select "Settings". Here you can deselect "Automatically run the launchpad when I log on to Windows".

  • i saw that in another thread, problem is i dont have that 'arrow'. im sure it has to do with the fact that i dont have user accounts enabled. see no need for yet another login proccess when the only people using it are me & my wife.
