Laptop Screen Blinks After logging In

  Yesterday when I signed in to my desktop my screen kept flashing a blue screen and returning back to the desktop. I booted the pc in Safe Mode and it displayed this error:

  Explorer.exe-Application Error                                                                                                                                                        the instruction at 0x00000000 referenced memory at 0x00000000. The memory could not be written.

  I scanned for errors using Command Prompt. After the scan, now when I sign in the desktop flashes for a few  minutes and becomes normal.

  I am using an HP Pavilion dv6 6190se with Windows 8.1 Pro. Its happening after I scanned my pc with Microsoft Malicious Software Removal Tool
