Outlook 2003 crash RRS feed

  • Question

  • For some reason, my computer running Vista Home Pro went into hibernate or sleep mode.  It would not wake up, and finally, I just turned off the computer.  When I turned it back on, Outlook does not open.  Instead, I get a dialogue box that says, " Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook.  Unable to open the Outlook window.  The set of folders could not be opened .  The server is not available.  Contact your administrator if this condition persits."

When I log on as the administrator, Outlook opens, so it appears to be a problem relating to being logged on as another user.  Of course, all my Outlook data is under the other user name.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks.
