Different language, different signature. Possible? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I just came up with the idea, when I post in the German forums, it should show my signature in German and when I post in the English forums, it should show my signature in English. Is this possible in any way? As you know, html will be translated in the signature. I found an If statement in html coded. Can I use it somehow, so it will only print one part of the signature if it says in the url ".../en-US/..." or not?

    The following is my signature:

Powershell Programmer & Advanced Lua Programmer

    Location: Switzerland

Beside that, whenever you see a reply, you think is helpful, click "Alternate TextVote As Helpful"! And whenever you see a reply being an answer to the mainquestion of the thread, click "Alternate TextMark As Answer" (if you opened the thread).

Please contact me, before reporting me, thank you.

  • Inserting a script into the signature is logically not allowed. :/

  • Livio,

How did you add Alternate Text and  Alternate Text these symbols in the signature ? Could you please share that code ? :-)

    Thanks

  • There's a limited amount of characters you can use. I just tried to put my signature in a different font-family but there was some part of it deleted at the very end.

    The following is my signature:

Powershell Programmer & Advanced Lua Programmer

    Location: Switzerland

  • Add this idea as a suggestion. I don't think it is possible right now, but it sounds like a good idea.

  • In the suggestion forum there is a sticky thread at the top pointing to the WiKi article. So, I advise you to add your suggestion in that article first and in that forum you can also do or I just simply can move this thread to that forum.

Actually, I can not (I'm not a moderator in this forum), but the moderators of this forum can move it.
