  • I have a proxy-related issue.  When Internet Explorer is configured to use my internal proxy server, I receive an "Unable to verify your e-mail address and password because of a problem with your network settings" error when I attempt to sign in to SharedView.  As soon as I remove my proxy settings from Internet Explorer, I am able to successfully sign on to SharedView and things work as expected.

     

    My network is highly restricted, and allowing users to bypass the proxy is not a satisfactory long-term resolution for this issue.  We are using ISA as our proxy server.  Please inform me which ports, protocols and/or web sites we must explicitly enable in order for SharedView to work through our ISA server.

  • Hello, what version of SharedView do you have installed?  Beta 2?  Also, are you able to sign into Windows Live Messenger with the restrictions on?
