I have two addins that remain listed as installed. One is Auto Exit and the other is WHS Outlook. Clicking on uninstall presents "uninstallation failed"

There has got to be an easy way to remove these items. Anyone know why they aren't uninstalling completely?

Be careful with WHS Outlook - if you don't have the latest version, uninstalling it can break Remote Desktop (check the author's site for details).

Because the WHS Console keeps its own list of installed add-ins, manually removal requires a bit of playing in the registry: http://wiki.wegotserved.com/index.php?title=Manually_Uninstall_a_WHS_Add-in

Hi,

This can also be done automatically, without having to mess in the registry yourself.
ASoft made a tool to do this.

Another advantage over doing it manually is that it creates backups of the stuff it deleted in the registry, so when you made a mistake and deleted the wrong one, you can easily add it back again. :-)

Very nice tool to clean up this mess...
