  • Does anyone know this question about macros in words??

    Question:

    Create a macro that applies a first line Indentation to text. Name the macro Indent and apply it to all Heading 1.

    I need full correct steps that could finish this task.

    I would really appreciate help from the comunity.

  • Hmm,

    What you are asking for is the steps for an exam question. What you need to do is train on this subject because this might be a section you are not comfortable in yet. This should not mean that you would just learn the steps and proceed with the next question because in that case you would not have learned anything. I'd suggest reading the Inside Out book about Word on this one which will explain the process as well. Get hands on and show that you deserve this certification instead of just learning a question.

  • Steps:

    1. Write something like Header 1 or Hello World

    2. Go to developer tab and click Record Macro

    3. Type the name of macro Indent

    4. Click Keyboard

    5. In text-box Press new shortcut key type: example ctrl+shift+i

    6. Click Assign and Close

    7. Go to Home tab on Style ore just click CTRL+SHIFT+ALT + S --> for styles

    8. Click on Manage Style button

    9.Select Heading 1 style and click Modify button

    10. Click Format button and then Paragraph

    11. Then in Indentation part click combo box Special and select first line

    12.Click OK

    13.Click OK

    14.Click OK

    15.With your keyboard select the text that you wrote on first steps and on Home tab at Style click Heading 1

    16. Go to developer tab and click stop recording macro

    17. Done
