CRM 2015 Integration with SAP RRS feed

  • Hi,

    I am working on CRM 2015 and need to integrate CRM 2015 with SAP ECC 6.0.  Kindly guide what are requirement and how to get integration.

  • It very much depends what integration you require. CRM has a web service interface, and I believe SAP ECC 6.0 does as well, so I expect these would be used, but there are several architecture options:

    • Direct integration. For example, if you want to send data to SAP based on a change to data in CRM, you could write a CRM plugin to call the SAP web services. This tends to work for small, specific, one-way integration
    • Point-to-point integration with some central control. Third party tools like Scribe or Cozyroc provide integration with CRM, and may provide integration with SAP. If they do, then this is probably the best non-code option
    • Message-based integration using tools like BizTalk. Personally, I think this is normally excessive for integration between just two systems, but if you've already got skills with BizTalk, and there's a BizTalk adapter for SAP, then this might be cost-effective
