SQLSERVER Agent service not running error RRS feed

    Hi,

    I trying to installing mscrm 2011 in windows2012 server while we are getting error like MSQLSERVER Agent service is not running in SQL server, we have using cluster sql2012 server whether we cheaked cluster server tha service is running.. but we were getting this same error. please guide me how ton resolve this issue.

    Hi,

    Hope this may help you to fix your issue. 

    Check your your firewall is blocking the SQL !!

    Hi Kamalesh,

    on SQL Server this Agent Service is allow remote server to connect to SQL please go to relevant SQL servers (both cluster) and go to services and check that SQL Server Agent service is running or not, if it is not running please start this service.

    Alternatively, you can connect to sql management studio and connect to your server and at the botton you will see sql server agent make sure this is running (green button) for both sql server cluster.

    I guess doing above should fix this issue.

                 i have checked both point u mentioned its showing running and Green button.

    I tried the suggestion and checked the port in SQL Server, its open. But i am still getting error. I have attached the error message.
