I have 3 machines on one network, 2 of the three connected no problem but one will not. I guess this is a problem on that machine not the server. It is running XP PRO sp2. Do I have to reload windows? I can not access server with explorer address.Tuesday, February 2, 2010 7:25 PM

Have you tried completely disabling Windows Firewall and/or any other firewall on that client?Tuesday, February 2, 2010 10:06 PMModerator -

Can you successfully ping your server from that client (both by name and by IP address)?Wednesday, February 3, 2010 12:45 AMModerator -

no I can not
When you say no, is that for one, the other, or both? Can you run ipconfig /all from a command prompt, both on that client that doesn't work and the server (or a client that does work)?Wednesday, February 3, 2010 2:08 AMModerator
