How to report Windows7 crash to ms RRS feed

    I am using W7 HomeBasic on Dell Inspiron15. all W7 updates are there.

    Most of time explorer crashes when I try to open Control Panel.

    How to report problem to ms guys. I have collected steps using psr tool.

    anybody aware of if any fix came for this issue.

  • This is already known ;)

    Install Update KB980408 [1]. This will try to solve the issue.

    If not, please download this reg file from my SkyDrive:

    http://cid-128fc518635be2dc.skydrive.live.com/self.aspx/.Public/MS%20Foren/Registry/WER%5E_Explorer.reg

    and make a double click on the file to import it.

    When the explorer crashes, Windows Error Reporting Service [2] creates a dmp file under C:\Localdumps. Please upload the file to your public Skydrive [3] folder and post the link here. I take at the dump, maybe I can see the cause.
